FRANK
HERMANSEN (NO)
Frank began his journey with Flatcoated Retrievers in 1990 and has since trained and competed on the highest level with multiple dogs at Working Test, cold game tests, and Field Trials in Norway and internationally. Over the past 15 years, he has worked primarily with Labradors and currently co-owns two German bred yellow girls and one own-bred young bitch. The two eldest, both INT FTCH, have achieved outstanding results, including winning the Nordic Championships in 2023 and runner-up in 2025, and winning the Swedish and the Italian Field Trial Championships.
He has represented Norway on several occasions at prestigious events such as the Coupe d'Europe, the Skinners World Cup, and the IWT.
Frank became a National WT and cold game test judge in 1999 and an international FCI judge shortly thereafter. He has since then judged Field Trials and Working Tests across Europe, including the Coupe d'Europe 2015 in Sweden and the IWT 2019 in the Netherlands.

ANJA
MÖLLER (D)
Anja has been a dedicated Retriever owner since the early 1990s and is the owner of the renowned Labrador kennel ‘Gunsight’s’ – and her love for the breed and its training is very well reflected in her books.
She has competed successfully across Europe and the UK, producing three international FCI Field Trial Champions and one Italian Field Trial Champion. The highlights of her career include top results at major international retriever events, including ‘Top Dog’ award at the European Retriever Championships and awards at the IWT, as well as the ‘Top Dog’ award at the Skinners Cup and winning the team competition in 2007.
Anja started judging working tests in 2002 and has been an international FCI field trial judge since 2008. Since then, she has judged numerous tests and trials throughout Europe and the UK. Since 2014, she has represented Germany in the FCI Retriever Commission. In 2018, she passed the Royal Kennel Club’s judges exam. Having been a member of the Labrador breeding commission for 21 years, she is currently Chair of the Judges in the Board of the German Retriever Club.

STEFANO
MARTINOLI (IT)
Stefano has dedicated more than 35 years to the training, breeding and competition of Labradors at the highest international level. His journey with working retrievers began in 1989 with his first Labrador, Black Bullock (“Bullet”), whom he trained to become a champion.
As founder of Waterfriend Kennels, Stefano has focused on breeding dogs that combine strong mental stability with the drive, style and performance required for elite field trial competition. Over the years, he has handled several of his own dogs to International Field Trial Champion (Int. FTCH) titles, including outstanding dogs such as Int. FTCH Waterfriend Carthago, Int. FTCH Waterfriend Toy and Int. FTCH Waterfriend Puzzle.
Throughout his career, Stefano has achieved success at some of the most prestigious retriever events in Europe, including victories at the ICC (International Cup for Retrievers) and the Coupe d’Europe (European Cup for Retrievers). He has competed extensively across Europe and the UK with great success.
Alongside his competitive achievements, Stefano is also a highly respected FCI International Judge and has judged major field trials and working tests throughout Europe. His judging and training philosophy is known for its technical precision, consistency and focus on building reliability, trust and partnership between dog and handler — qualities essential for success in modern retriever work.

LUISE L.
RASMUSSEN (DK)
Luise lives in Denmark, south of Aalborg, where she and her husband Kristian Olesen run the kennel Møgelholt with working Labradors. Together, they share a strong passion for retrievers, training, hunting and field work, and spend much of their free time training dogs, attending tests and trials, and maintaining the many friendships within the retriever community. Their dogs are used both for competition and practical hunting, and the kennel regularly breeds litters of FT Labradors.
Over the years, Luise has travelled extensively throughout Europe with her dogs for training, working tests and field trials. She has represented Denmark several times at both the International Working Test (IWT) and The Kennel Club’s international team events at Chatsworth.
Luise became a judge in the Danish Retriever Club in 2016 and judges a wide range of retriever activities, including quality tests, working tests, mock trials and international field trials. She has judged in several countries and at both championships and regular competitions, earning great respect for her experience and dedication within the retriever sport.

ANDERS
CARLSSON (SE)
Anders has been involved with Labradors, hunting and retriever work since receiving his first Labrador in 1979. Together with his wife Mirjam, he runs the well-known kennel Carmals, established in 1983, where they have bred around 70 Labrador litters alongside several other hunting breeds. His dogs have achieved numerous titles, including Swedish and Norwegian hunting champions and several field trial champions from his own breeding.
He became a judge for cold game tests in 1994 and has played an important role in the development of retriever field trials in Sweden, including work on rules, judge education and trial organisation. Anders has been an international FCI judge for more than 25 years and has judged tests and championships across most of Europe, as well as in Russia and Eastern Europe. He has judged both the European Championships and the IWT on multiple occasions.
Alongside his judging career, Anders has held numerous leading roles within retriever and spaniel trial activities and currently serves on the Swedish Kennel Club Hunting Dog Committee as the Swedish FCI representative for retrievers and spaniels. A passionate hunter, he spends much of his free time hunting in forests, fields and coastal areas both in Sweden and abroad.
